Landscapes beyond

Travel arranges all the pieces of me that get stuck in the wrong place during the jumbles of sedation. I look forward to my next trip like it is a new window into the soul of the world, a window that will open up blocked lines in the flow of myself and my place on this spinning wonder. Last year it was Florence Italy & San Sebastian Spain....... Train rides that cleared my head with fast movements through slow places, olive oil days, bike rides under candle lit streets, nighttime reflections of myself melding in with the history beyond and in front of me, ocean plunges in unknown waters cleansing me offshore unknown shores and the gratitude & appreciation for what is "en questo momento". That is what taught me the most in Italy through seeing my expat family living in just that....the present moment. It was Maui Hawaii and my native heart connection to that island through breezy mornings, flowers the size of monsters heads, abundance, spiritual and synchronistic moments that web and wind together on the winding roads above Paia and beyond Hana, the feeling that I am an underwater creature just seeking any which way through the waves, on top of the waves, adventurous sparks that go off in me like lightning walking through tunnels of flowing water into the light of the Island day. Maui, your ingrained in me. You have taught me many lessons and will always be that piece that needs to link into my life puzzle. TO BE CONTINUED....after the Winter season winds away and were off to Ecuador to see best friends in their soul spot and learning to sail with my parents in the British Virgin Islands. May the people we meet and the lessons we learn stay with us eternally and may we feed each others questions with simple truths.

I love you dearly and am so happy that FL is on that list of travel this year. I think about it daily and imagine some rocking homemade meals, some sort of adventure, and an abundance of great conversation!
